All product choices and construction methods at Árbol have come with heavy scrutiny. Your home should be easy to maintain, so we have done the leg work to source and work with trusted materials that offer longevity, reduced maintenance, low-toxicity and environmental responsibility for your most important asset.
Please note some specifications may vary between models.
Cladding
Spotted Gum feature wall: These are sustainably sourced hardwood timbers from Australia.
These dense and closed cell timbers require less maintenance and have a expected 40 year life.
Our preferred choice is Spotted Gum for it's beautiful texture, detail and colouring.
Walls & Roofing
To complement our timber features we utilise ColorCote iron walls and roofing. This brand offers incredible durability in the all climates of New Zealand, whether that's the harsh summers or freezing cold of Central Otago, or the salty beach side of the Coromandel.
You can chose from Corrugate as standard.
Trim Rib, Euro Tray or True Oak Corrugate options can also be specified for additional cost.
Window Joinery
Poor performing joinery and glazing is one of the primary contributors to high energy costs. Featuring a 70mm five chamber profile, our uPVC outperforms any standard or
thermally broken Aluminum joinery on the market.
uPVC is also durable, long lasting, it won't rot, rust, corrode of fade.
All builds include Black joinery with Viridian Low-E Lightbridge Double Glazing as standard.
Triple glazing or timber windows are available for additional cost.
Ventilation
All our homes feature a centrally ducted, Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery system (MVHR).
This system continuously removes moisture and stale air, while returning filtered fresh air and captures up to 90% of heat on the exhaust cycle and returns it to the environment - this includes the heat from cooking, and showering.
It has filters to remove smells, pollen & dust.
This leads to reduced energy costs and a cleaner healthier and more comfortable environment inside your home.
Meltem passive certified M-WRG II are included on all 1-bed models.
Larger Brink Flair 225 units are included on all 2-bedroom models.
Heating & Cooling
Our homes are built to be low-energy consumption. You don't need much to warm them up quickly and keep the heat in.
All our homes include a Mitsubishi Heatpump as standard, to condition the space initially.

Flooring
Godfrey Hurst Metropol 1500 is a limestone composite core performance, timber look, click together flooring system, that eliminates the need for toxic glues.
It is waterproof and suitable for all wet areas including bathrooms, kids & pet friendly, easy clean, and eco-friendly.
Available in a wide range of natural timber hues, your next project is a guaranteed winner with strong, stable and beautiful.
Featured in our living, kitchen, and hallway areas.

For our bedroom and loft areas we choose high-quality God Frey Hurst Enchant carpets.
NZ wool, cut pile twist, 38 oz.
Client favorites are Silver Chalice, Woodland, Cinder.

All our classic series bathrooms feature tiled floors, shower, and skirting.
Soft under cabinet lighting
Greens Volt series tapware features throughout, including a slider shower with rainfall head.
Finishing colours include Chrome, Black, Gunmetal and Brass.
Stein wall hung vanity with dual handless draws, in a choice of light timber, black or white.
Addesso form flushing toilet included.
Cinderella incinerating toilet optional add-on for off grid placement.
Underflooring heating is an optional add-on.

Your choice of stunning Birch Ply ceilings and walls or a mixture of GIB plaster and low VOC paint finish.

With a selection of over 50 unquie colours and timber look joinery to choose from, and many Engineered stone benchtop (Silica free) options - it's easy to make the space fit your look.
Stainless steel sink, bins, and cutlery insert - all as standard inclusions.
